Care & MaintenanceThe following are basic care and maintenance for most leathers. We always recommend that a professional leather cleaner be consulted for stains or damage.
- Dust basis with a soft, clean, dry dusting cloth.
- Keep away from direct sunlight, heating source and weather.
- Gently remove all spills immediately.
- Do not scrub or rub hard. Blot any stains instead of wiping.
- Do not use shoe polish, saddle soap or unidentified leather cleaners, pastes or abrasives or other cleaning products other than those specifically designed for cleaning leather.
- Regularly clean contact areas such as arms, head to avoid build up of body oils.
- Dust before cleaning, if vacuuming use soft attachment.
- Do take care never to treat leather with powerful solvents.
- Do not leave newspapers on leather furniture. The ink in the newsprint will rub onto the leather.
- There are products designed specifically to remove most stains. Please contact a professional leather cleaning company for any of these products.
